Essentials to home of blind in Ambalantota
Sarana Elders Blind Home in Ambalantota provides accommodation for elderly people of ages ranging from 40 to 90. These inmates live in buildings which need major repairs. Also, their sanitary facilities are at a minimum level. We provided dry rations and essential items in a few occasions during Covid19 lockdown periods in which there were no donors to provide their living.

The Vocational Training Center for Visually Handicapped in Mahailuppallama provides shelter for blind males and females. The centre is placed in an abandoned school where the inmates have minimum facilities. We made cash donation to meet their living.

Eye camp
We conducted an Eye camp for over 125 patients selected island-wide from the care centres managed by the Sri Lanka Federation of the Visually Handicapped. From these patients, 28 were selected for further treatments who had been diagnosed by the doctors whose vision can be improved.
